Opryland!

The trip stumbled a bit at the start -- wrong hotel, wishing I had rented a car, etc.  But in the end, the Opryland hotel was a delightful place for a work conference.  I enjoyed my time in Nashville and I had a great conference experience.

In my quest for social media fame and fortune, I was thrilled that my tweet made the "big board" at the conference.  Woo hoo!

April trips...

A couple work trips in April mean the month went by pretty fast.

Atlanta -- a dolphin downtown and storms clouds on the way out.

Des Moines -- wind farm

Did I fly into Chicago just in time for a snow storm?

Yes, yes I did.

It was a disaster, but I did get some work done.  I arrived just as the wet, heavy snow was starting.  I tried to catch a client meeting in the north 'burbs before I realized that was unlikely considering I needed to be in Milwaukee late in the day.  I drove there in the snow storm.  It took 2.5 hours from the north 'burbs.  I learned that was pretty good once I talked to others who left later in the day that said it took them nearly 4 hours to drive from Chicago to Milwaukee.
