the in between...

Apparently the time between Colorado and the 4th of July was boring. Ha ha.

The reality is that I just didn't have time (or take time, that is) to post anything here.

The dogs enjoyed the summer.

The kids enjoyed the summer.

Apparently while Chad is away, the kids will play. T and I took the kids to Jane's to enjoy a hot summer afternoon while Chad was out of town. The kids has a great time playing in the pool and on the swing set while the adults enjoyed a cold one and some lovely conversation. All of this fun was followed by grilled food (naturally). A great summer memory.


T and I also took the kids to a Twins game. It was the lil rascal's first Twins game (and it was a hot one), so we were all happy to make it through 4 innings of baseball!

After the game we headed to the playground for a bit before it was back home to rest .... ahhh, summer.



Then came the 4th of July
