Another work trip - Orlando

Just what you want after a nice, long weekend -- a work conference in Orlando. I flew down late on Tuesday night, so was exhausted on Wednesday morning. ...but up early nonetheless.

I stayed at Coronado Springs, which I'm sure is quite nice. However, I only experience it in order to sleep at night and walk back and forth to the shuttle first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

Still, the sunrise was pretty every morning.

Overall, the conference had good content. I spent lots of time with clients. And I learned a good deal, got a chance to think from a different perspective. One highlight from the session was the Guinness World Record attempt for longest continuous handshake chain. We managed it with 2380 people. So I am now a world record holder!!

Wednesday night was filled with receptions. Having arrived late the night before, I headed back to my room early to watch the start of NFL season. ...and subsequently fall asleep somewhere around halftime.

Thursday morning was gorgeous too.

Thursday's agenda: sessions, lunch, sessions, sessions, dinner. I did walk outside for about 15 minutes after the last session and before dinner. It felt good to be out of A/C for a bit!

Dinner was good despite bad, slow service. That managed to score us some free drinks at the end of the night....

Friday I had an early flight home. Thanks to the magic of Disney, I was at the airport WAY before my flight took off.
